การปลูกที่หวังผลได้ต้นตัวเมียจะได้จากการปลูกจากการแยกหน่อจากต้นตัวเมียมาเพาะชำไว้หรืออีกวิธีหนึ่งใด้จากการเพาะเนื้อเยื่อ ทั้งสองวิธีนี้ของ กล้าอินทผาลัม จะให้ผลผลิต อินทผาลัม อย่างชัดเจนแน่นอน
การเพาะอินทผาลัม ทำได้ไม่ยากอัตราการงอกจากเมล็ดที่ได้จากการนำมาทานส่วนมากขึ้นทุกชนิด โดยที่ท่านไม่ต้องไปซื้อหาต้นราคาแพงตามท้องตลาดที่ได้จากการเพาะเมล็ดซึ่งตามที่กล่าวข้างต้นอาจจะได้ต้นที่เป็นตัวผู้หรือต้นที่เป็นตัวเมีย แต่ท่านไม่ต้องเสียเงินพร้อมกับการที่ท่านเสี่ยงในการที่จะได้ต้นที่ให้ผลผลิตตามต้องการหรือไม่อย่างน้อยก็เป็นการเพราะด้วยตัวของเราเอง นอกเสียจากท่านที่ต้องการซื้อต้นพันธุ์ที่ได้จากการแยกหน่อมาปลูกที่มีราคาค่อนข้างแพง
ขั้นตอน การเพาะอินทผาลัม
สำหรับท่านที่เพาะเป็นจำนวนมากทำกระบะใส่ขี้เก้าแกลบรองพื้น โรยเมล็ดลงไว้แล้วกลบด้วยขี้เถ้าแกลบทับอีกชั้นหนึ่งรดน้ำให้ชุ่มคอยดูให้ขี้เถ้าแกลบมีความชุ่มชื้นตลอดการเพาะประมาณสองสัปห์ก็จะได้เมล็ดอินทผาลัมที่มีรากออกมานำมาเพาะต่อในถุงชำ
การเพาะอินทผาลัม ที่ต้องการเห็นการงอก
1.นำเมล็ดพันธุ์ที่ท่านต้องการเพาะจากการคัดเลือกพันธุ์
2.นำเมล็ดที่ได้ไปใส่ในพาชนะแช่ในน้ำทิ้งไว้ เปลี่นน้ำสักครั้งหรือสองครั้ง
3.นำเมล็ดที่ได้จากการแช่น้ำหรือเทน้ำออกจากพาชนะ นำมาห่อด้วยกระดาษหนังสือพิมพ์ที่ที่ชุบน้ำให้เปียกหรือผ้าแล้วในในกล่องพลาสติกปิดฝาให้แน่น นำวางซ้อนไว้ตามชั้นหรือมุม และคอยดูคาวมชุ้มชื้นของวัสดุสดุที่ให้ห่ออย่าให้แห้ง ถ้าแห้งต้องฉีดพ่นอะอองน้ำเพิ่ม หรือการเพราะอาจใช้ขวดพลาสติกหรือขวดใส่จำพวกกาแฟก็ได้วิธีนี้ที่ทำให้ชุ่มเปิดใส่น้ำเข้าและเทออกทุกสองวัน
4.เมล็ดที่นำมาเพาะประมาณ 5 - 7 วันก็จะมีรากงอกออกมาให้เห็นและรอให้งอกออกมาอีกประมาณ 1 เซนติเมตร
5.นำเมล็ดมีที่รากงอกออกมาใส่ลงในถุงเพาะชำที่เตรียมไว้นำวางเรียงไว้ในโรงเรือน
การเพาะอินทผาลัม ยังมีการเพาะอีกหลายรูปแบบสามารถที่ประยุกค์ใช้กับจำนวนเมล็ดและวัตุประสงค์ของ การเพาะเมล็ดพันธุ์อินทผาลัม
